Equipment

Findochty Community Council holds a range of emergency equipment to support the community during an incident. This page lists what is available, where it is held, and how it is maintained.

Community Emergency Resilience Kit

The kit is a grab bag of essential supplies that can be deployed quickly at an emergency. It is held at Findochty Town Hall and inspected every three months by the Community Resilience Group.

Defibrillators (AEDs)

Two public-access defibrillators are available in Findochty, both mounted externally and accessible at any time. If someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally: call 999 as soon as possible, send someone to fetch the nearest defibrillator, and start chest compressions immediately. When the AED arrives, open the case and follow the voice prompts.
