The Community Council has officially accepted the new Seashore Hub, a groundbreaking initiative to enhance beach cleaning and marine conservation efforts along the Moray Firth coastline. The Hub equips our community with tools to collect data on marine litter and conduct beach cleans, making it accessible for residents and visitors to contribute to preserving the pristine shores.

The Seashore Hub provides equipment and resources, allowing participants to choose between data collection – using provided forms to track marine litter – or volume cleaning, focusing on collecting as much litter as possible. This community-driven approach, rooted in community science, empowers individuals to take an active role in protecting our coastline.
